Chrysler was founded on June 6th, 1925, by Walter Chrysler and was founded out of the remains of the Maxwell Motor Corporation which existed between 1904-1925. Chrysler belongs to the so called "Big Three" which refers to the three largest manufacturers in US automotive industry. The brand is currently owned by the Italian car manufacturer Fiat.
